I already really like the style and the soundtrack with songs with actual lyrics and relaxing atmosphere, that's unusual.

I'm particularly proud of this picture. The most difficult parts to make was the crowd, and the left Sirenade's left wing.(The wing closest to the boombox.) I had to redo the sound speaker. I made this my desktop wallpaper on my computer.

You would think that more #furries would know about #CassetteBeasts for Southpaw. there is no fanart for Southpaw on mastodon from what I can tell, so this might be the first! Please correct me if I'm wrong. this use the in game sprite for reference.

I've been experimenting with pixel art lately. This is the first picture I made. It shows, the grass looks weird. The Candevil was made using reference from the in game sprite, if you look closely you may notice that it's not accurate to the actual sprite, there's a hard black lining to it.

Cassette beasts Is one of a few #videogames that has ost that uses lyrics in some of its music, which isn't to common among videogames ost. The lyrics only kicked in when you fuse with your partner during a fight of any kind. Thought to post more #fanart for #CassetteBeasts. This time a picture of a Sirenade! I had a hard time trying to draw the feathers on their head, I also added a extra fang. I was listening to autumn Hill's theme from the game itself, while making this picture. unfortunately I can't find it this piece of music on youtube.

if anyone is looking for a new Pokemon-style game, I suggest giving Cassette Beasts a try. I haven't been able to get into a Pokemon game since Gold/Silver/Crystal, but I have put an hour into Cassette Beasts on Xbox and am really enjoying it so far.

One specific thing I like is that you, the player character, transform into the different beasts (by listening to different tapes on your Walkman!), so it's less like dogfighting, and more like... if being a furry were a combat sport? I find this delightful. ❤️

I bought #CassetteBeasts last night and was extremely pleased to see it had a native Linux port and that it was made with #Godot! Hyperfocused on it for hours and didn't sleep a wink; truly the hallmark of a great game.

Definitely a huge recommend from me.

I love how the queer and trans themes go so hard.

Just started playing #CassetteBeasts! It's sort of like #Pokémon, but the game feel is different. The whole vibe of the game, gives me the impression that the developers weren't just looking at Pokémon for inspiration. I might share more of my thoughts on this game as I continue play it.
