It's March 25th and we all know what that means. Happy Fall of Sauron / Gondorian New Year, everyone!

Naturally this calls for an extended edition trilogy marathon.

This chonky knit is going to be a capelet thing to wear over my wedding dress while we're outside, and it's a super quick knit which is perfect for making me feel like today was still productive.

It's #WIPWednesday and work continues on my incredibly green jumper! This is about two weeks of progress but what can I say, there are lots of other projects vying for attention 😀

Pattern is the Justyna Jumper on Ravelry and the chunky stitch pattern is super squishy, love it!

Yarn is Paintbox Yarns Wool Mix Aran in "Racing Green", although it's a bit less bright than in the photo!

This is my Temperature Dress, all up to date. The October/November weather has been v boring, as the big swathe of Magenta around thigh level attests. From the knitting point of view, I'll be glad when it gets chillier and I can go back to knitting with blues.

@BirdieKnits I already shared my other knitting WIP yesterday, so here's this one - a quick, simple pair of socks, on break until I finish that LotR scarf. (Hopefully today, maybe tomorrow.)

I'm pretty happy with them, although I'm still fussing with anatomical toe shaping; it's not QUITE right yet. I like how the pattern sort of echoes the geometry of a bookshelf, though - that was what I was going for.

Been looking forward to casting this jumper on for weeks, but there's a problem. It turns out the pattern asks for a bigger needle than I own.

Cheapskate that I am the current plan is to knit the XL version, tweak as I go, and just see how that works out! I'm sure it'll be totally fine....

On a lighter note I'm absolutely in love with this green! It's Paintbox Wool Mix Aran and the pattern is the "Justyna Jumper" available on Rav.

My most recent design: Convoluted Cowl, in Cast On magazine Winter 2022. Knitted side-to-side with an *in pattern* graft to join it at the end. I walk you through the graft step by step. This was a lot of fun to design and knit.
