#Celtic #FaustianFriday: #Celtiberians were feared for their cavalry as well as for their foot warriors. Their bravery was proverbial. There was a warrior custom of carrying poison with them in case of capture.
They immediately invited strangers into their homes and competed in hospitality of welcome, for they considered visitation by strangers a prize of the gods. Nowhere else in the ancient world were so many `tesserae hospitales` found concentrated as in the #Celtiberian area.
