#Cennfaelad was brought to the medical school in #Tomregan in 637 AD with a fractured skull as a result of a sword thrust. The #Celtic surgeons removed the bone splinters and part of his brain. After his recovery, the chief's mind was said to be even sharper than before. He became a great scholar, writing the `Textbook of Poets` and law commentaries on the `Book of Acaill`. He is also said to have founded the famous Bard School in #Derryloran, County Tyrone.
