and the other poem is for substack contributors; a #cento made of lines from #LGBT writers/poets/authors/singers/public figures that include the word #silence

1. I seriously want to start coding more multiplatform stuff, and want to bring #Cento to macOS to share with friends &family.
2. Resuming classes this spring, is almost certainly going to force me to run a proprietary OS. Ive been keeping a Win partition on the one laptop for this, but kicking that to the curb & using macOS for this (while dodging windows 11) has some appeal.
I guess I dont need to justify it. But I feel like it? Still not going to be my main machine.
I am calling this wordlist "polyhedral fantasy". Words lifted from the D&D 3.5 SRD. License field on the wordlist file is set to the Open Game License 1.0a.
Horror wordlist.
Actively playing with the wordlists as I create them, to make sure they feel right. Like just now I discovered I had no word tile for undead, which feels like an oversight here.
So much of my output with this app is horny. I swear I've made sure the wordlists are capable of violence too.
I need to build up a few "themed" wordlists. Testing the word distribution on the "scifi" theme.
* Font rendering and tile size calculations are now DPI independent.
* You can now right click on a tile, and ask for it to be defined. Which opens up a dictionary in your default browser.
* That dictionary is user customize-able. See screenshot below.
* The Wordlist, where tiles are created from can suggest an alternate dictionary. I.E. If you have a bunch of star trek tiles, they can set memory alpha as their suggested dictionary.
Okay word tiles are completely customizeable now. Not just font, size and coloring. But now border width and square v round corners are all user configurable.
Next up, dictionary lookup of word tiles I think.
The OpenGL control Im using for all of the drawing takes a weird amount of time to get around to it's first paint on Windows than it does linux. Not sure why yet. It's near instantaneous in linux. After that weird delay the windows build is as snappy as linux.
Going to see if I can reproduce it in a QuickEmu windows guest. As I just got the one windows partition on the one pentium silver laptop.
Spent some time last night trying another build of #Cento on Windows. Was able to squash a number of performance bugs very quickly just trying things out in another OS.
