It is a kind of fudge/caramel sweet made from boiling #carrots into sweet mush, adding chopped nuts for texture, and rolling in shredded coconut. Avoid the nasty stuff sold in boxes at supermarkets. Homemade is best.

Tastes a bit like old-fashioned British sweets called 'coconut teacakes'. You can get vegan kinds using non-dairy caramel.

Same kind of idea as traditional Italian #panforte also vegan. The Italian sweet is spicy- yum!
