Tonight I’m prepping a class lecture on liberation theology, religious diversity, and the role of the chaplain as a disruptor of the dominant.

Every time I take off my PPE after coming out of covid+ room, a little voice in the back of my mind wonders, “Is this how I’ll get #covid again?” 🤔 Still, I remember earlier days and am thankful I can visit patients with covid and also that there is enough PPE for all those who provide patient care. 🙏

I was gifted this bowl today & can’t stop looking at it.

I often say that my role as a #University #Chaplain is to be a bowl for students.

All that is swirling in their heads they can put in the bowl.

We hold it for them safely and securely. We don’t splash it. We don’t drop it. We don’t share it with others.

Instead we put it back on the shelf and students can refill it anytime they need.

We all need people who will be bowls for us.

And I will cherish this one.
