Some good news....dad loved the 1 bed flat so it's now all systems go to get him into it...and my son's surgeon thinks all is ok...we have to wait 10 days to get biopsy results but he is fairly certain my son has nothing to worry about 🙏

Also a timely thought considering the death from bowel cancer of a prominent cancer activist yesterday, Deborah James, at the age of just 40.

She was diagnosed in 2016, the same year a childhood friend of mine was diagnosed. My friend sadly only lived a year after her diagnosis, and died at the age of 32.

The hashtag on twitter is #CheckYourPoo to raise awareness of the symptoms to look out for, as I mentioned, I had a few of them that led to my GP referring me for a colonoscopy last year which thankfully was clear, though now I have a new cancer scare thanks to changed cells found from my cervical screening.

Fuck cancer and get all the tests and screenings that are appropriate for your age and body parts
