Salton Sea, CA - Decades of agricultural runoff have dumped tons of pesticides to the lake. As the lake dries out, the concentrations of the chemicals and the salinity in the water are increasing killing most fish and birds in the area. When it gets windy, the dried sediment loaded with toxic chemicals becomes dust and causes respiratory problems to the residents in the area.
