In another display of partisan bullshittery, #KMT members of #Kaohsiung's city parliament knew no better than to protest at the first appearance of newly-elected mayor #ChenChiMei (who replaces the recalled #HanKuoyu). That protest focussed on a national issue that does not lie in the competence of a city - being laxer rules for Ractopamine in pork meat, which is a talking point between #Taiwan and the #UnitedStates as part of a #trade agreement.
