@ThatOneSeong oh! one big thing ! my hours logged in #Chiaki is because bungie bans #Destiny2 players on linux. dumb af reason to do that but that's not the important part. when i'm at the other place i am 900mi from my ps5 and it's fine for games like final fantasy or stealth games like ghost of tsushima but overwatch/destiny2 progression content and pvp lol no. one time i played a round of apex legends on airplane wifi just to be an asshole though.

because i am spoiled rotten by using RemotePlay via #Chiaki to my PlayStations, i am reading about the #dualSenseEdge controller for the #PS5, doesn't look like i could setup a flip-stick for #Overwatch2 like my #SteamDeck can do, but i really would love to tailor the controls for profiles for #Destiny2 and other games i'm playing lately?

one of my favorite things for Destiny is mapping back paddle so when i hold it down the gyros activate. still not sure if i could do that with the Edge.

i probably spend half of my #destiny2 time tweaking builds and finding cool new outfits and color combos.

i play on #ps5 and am wicked annoyed remote play has been crashing when i use the #iOS client and #chiaki

i stopped blocking the playstation telemetry dns lookup in the whole house filter so sony at least knows it's happening?!

okay i am traveling this weekend and i really need a solution to the "#PlayStation5 #remotePlay has crashed, please restart your PS5" shit i've been plagued by for the last month.

it happens in #chiaki on my #steamDeck and it happens in the Sony Remote Play app for iOS with my special edition PlayStation themed #backbone controller. #gaming

i often point out that most of my game time on my #SteamDeck is running #Chiaki to #RemotePlay to my #PS5 (from my bed in IOW or PHL) and i love the 'deck there is no remorse but!

i am still enjoying #Forspoken on #PS5 (often via #remotePlay using #Chiaki on my #steamDeck) and i have played with the various quality modes and i haven't had any crashes or buggy behavior and i don't know why the #reviews of the game are so hard on it. i think the average review out of 10 was like 6.5 for some reason??

@gamingonlinux i have a charger for my #SteamDeck with a hand-off between the pillows on my bed because so much of my 'deck time is when i'm in bed 😂 and most of that is probably #Chiaki to Remote Play to the PlayStation 5 20 feet away below haha

i got Dead Space on Steam and just got started but i have to say that Detroit on PS5 was great and i am pretty sure i've played through at least 3 times. i am extremely critical of some of the creator's earlier work (hint: rhymes with chocolate rain)

i had preordered #Forspoken for #PS5 and forgot it was in my library.

so i finally launched it and it really is beautiful and the story so far as the very intro goes is interesting enough. the combat is a little confusing but i can tell there is a flow in there that i will eventually pick up.

the hardware requirements for PC aren't confidence inspiring for a #SteamDeck player so RemotePlay via #Chiaki is how i'll be enjoying at least half of my Forspoken time.

if #Steam tracked non-Steam games, my most-often played game is actually #Chiaki, the opensource #PlayStation #remotePlay app that i use to play my #PS5 from bed or airports.

i also have a Backbone controller for my iPhone and the #RemotePlay experience with that is quite good. i wouldn't play #destiny2 on LTE but for a lot of games that aren't latency-bound it's a great value. the #Backbone makes a great gift idea though #Hanukkah is coming! my kids use 8bit do bluetooth gamepads with their iPads but if they had phones they'd totally get one.

now i'm going to see if there's a port of #chiaki for #tvOS or something cuz that'd be sweet.

i am honestly on the fence about wiping it and installing windows 10 on my #steamDeck just to avoid the Proton hassles. the #Steam app running under windows 10 would probably keep the controller support consistent? there's so many things that just haven't worked ever since it arrived.

i definitely spend over half my 'deck time doing PS5 remote play on it, and the experience is just amazing using #Chiaki. i haven't sorted out off-homenet options yet.

my 7yo loves playing #iAmFish at least.

I'm using a packaged version of #Chiaki for #steamDeck called "#chiaki4deck"; it's a high-performance #RemotePlay experience to a Sony #PlaysStation 4/5 from Steam Deck, but my #PS5 and #PS4 challenge for a PIN because parenting, so currently I'm launching it to a dialog box as a workaround, but the maintainer of this fork has written some detail about the issue and workarounds here:
