I think a lot about what it means to build a proper #medical home for my patients. How to make systems more #equitable for newly-arrived #uninsured #immigrant children in #Louisiana where we have high rates of #child #poverty and #FoodInsecurity. The medical, mental health + economic needs are complex + daunting. But our #patients are always our greatest #teachers and mine have taught me that centering #dignity is the fundamental core of a true medical home. There is no #equity without dignity.
