There are a couple of important vaccines for age-old and devastating illnesses, that are proven to reduced #childMortality.

When people are confident their child will live a full life and not die of a preventable disease, they: reduce the number of children they have (ie. fertility). In two generations population growth slows.

This is the good side of modern medicine but BigPharma are not doing favors with rushed products, #opioid crisis etc.

Is it time for a #breedingFrenzy?

We say "NO (EFFING) WAY!"

Uncertainty in the future can lead to extreme #fertility. Many countries with sub-optimal infant and #childMortality have #highFertility, but this also produces other #povertySpirals into the future.

Plus the last thing the world needs is another set of #entitled, over-consuming #babyBoomers.

The bad exist largely outside the environmentalist space, we find.

Many environmental and #population groups like Sustainable Population Australia and the Population Media Center and more understand that #goodHealth and low #childMortality are important in producing lower #fertility. When people are confident their offspring will survive they have fewer kids. Also encouraging the use of #contraceptives/#condoms etc helps to reduce the spread of some #diseases.
