Congresswoman Shirley #Chisholm on the dance floor at The Copacabana in New York City (1980). Chisholm was the first #BlackWoman to be elected to the US Congress (1968). Chisholm's speech "For the Equal Rights Amendment", given in 1970, is listed as number 91 in American Rhetoric's Top 100 Speeches of the 20th century.
