Seeing some great #ChristmasDinner photos.

Personally I can't help but feel guilty about how my extended family go about it each year. The absurdity of the over-indulgence by my in-laws. Compounded by them being oblivious to their #foodwaste due to a compulsion to meet every culinary whim or fancy. The irony of five hours of group meal prep, for my mother-in-law not to be able to eat most of her meal.

Lovely xmas dinner. Air Fryer roast pork served with hassleback potatoes, parsnips, peas and Hayley's baby carrots, with an apple sauce made from scrumped apples. Followed by a Hayley made lemon and Mascarponi cheesecake! Washed down with mead for me and cinzano & lemonade for Hayley.

Good morning, all! (At least it’s morning in the UK!)

No sign of snow here and a mild 8°C / 46°F, so unlikely to get any. My thoughts are with all in the US and Canada being hit with bitterly cold temperatures, #snow and #blizzards. There have been some eye-opening videos from people there on TikTok.

I’m going to be getting ready to out for #ChristmasDinner a little later, but will be dipping in and out here.
