A Black and Golden Cicada (Huechys fusca) spotted at Upper Seletar Reservoir Park, Singapore, on 16 April 2023. Always nice to see this uncommon and colourful cicada, which likes to appear in a particular location in the park.

Happy to spot this cicada, Huechys fusca, at Upper Seletar Reservoir Park, Singapore, on 10 Oct 2021. We last spotted it two years ago, and, by coincidence, in almost the same spot.
This colourful cicada is less common than the usual cicadas heard and seen locally.
