Dutch storks follow the migratory route via Spain and make the crossing to Africa via Gibraltar. A #Stork is an excellent flier with slow wing beats that makes good use of thermals. Dutch storks are partly moving away, at least 1/5 spend the winter here. Migratory birds return from February and leave again from August. Here's a shot of one returning on the nest.

In jedem Fall sehr früh.
Sehe selbst eher Störche: kürzerer Schnabel, kürzere Handschwingen, wenig Lärm während des Flugs.
