My tool called `arc` does several things including showing the version of #CircleCI orbs being used in a config.

Now with v0.10.0 it will also show you if any orbs you are using have updates.

I guess I should thank @eric_capuano for the headsup on CircleCI getting their asses handed to them. Been fielding calls from nervous clients all day, and I'm glad I had time to formulate a good answer for them in advance.

My standard answer amounted to "Yes, CircleCI has had an incident and like with all types of breaches you should take steps. I'll help you rotate and get this sorted so you can get on with operations." so not like it was hard to answer, but still helps to be mentally prepared I guess. :toot:

The #GitHub #OAuth support is so painfully coarse.

You cannot give a 3rd party read access to one private repo. If you want that, you must give it read+write(!) access to all repo's(!) in that organization.

And if you want to log in to that 3rd party service on behalf of that organization, you must *also* give it write access to all your personal repo's. Like wtf?

(in this case I'm talking about #CircleCI, but unless I'm mistaken it's a #GitHub limitation, not a #CircleCI one)

💡 Did you know? If you change your default branch on GitHub, CircleCI will pick up that change and update the default branch for the project the next time you push some code.
