I found it interesting that Citizens Band radio stations in the US are explicitly prohibited from communicating with stations in other countries: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-47/chapter-I/subchapter-D/part-95/subpart-D/section-95.933

Local #CitizensBand here in #Utrecht is on 🔥 today. Channel 7/27.035 MHz has been active all day. And in contrast to NL's biggest #hamradio repeater, lots of interesting tech talk and no jamming/trolling at all 🤪 #swl #radio

CB radio lives but volume knob has no working off switch when you turn it to zero volume. No rx on my #youloop, have to check it with a CB antenna later. #CitizensBand #uniden #retro #electronics

I haven’t been looking, but this #CB in a Loves today is the first AM / FM model I’ve seen for sale since the FCC spproved FM #CitizensBand. Would be interesting to see if there’s any activity at all on the FM side.
