Do any of my local #government friends use #ActionMinutes? It's a streamlined version of regular meeting minutes. As I understand, there is no record of discussion on any topic, just "item passed" or "item was discussed". So if I speak, as a member of the public, and say "this road is dangerous for cyclists" the official record say nothing (or maybe, "residents shared their thoughts"). #CityCouncil #transparency

I live in #Sheffield, in Yorkshire, UK and I work as a web developer. I'm also a politician - a local #liberaldemocrat #councillor on Sheffield #citycouncil for Beauchief & Greenhill ward.

In 2014, WA #voters approved 1 counselor for every 200 #waedu middle & high school students. Thus, what #Seattle #students are asking #citycouncil for after the #Ingraham #shooting was already voted in by WA EIGHT years ago. But #waleg has refused to fund what WA voters demanded in I-1351 https://leg.wa.gov/House/Committees/OPRGeneral/Documents/2014/I-1351Summary.pdf

@mplsFietser I have connections in MN, MI, & WI, but I live in the #BayArea now. The thing I ask my #CityCouncil is how can you make this a place where my grandkids can live? Kids go to college and move away; aging parents move closer to their grandkids. Therefore, no one acts like a #steward for the #SevenGenerations I'm much more interested in #UrbanPlanning now!
