Manchmal tanzen Polizei oder Gesetzesmacher dem #Rechtsstaat auf der Nase herum. Jeder vierte Mensch lebt in einem Land mit geschlossenen #zivilgesellschaft|lichen Handlungsräumen. #BrotFürDieWelt hatte am 3. Weil wir diese Woche sehen, dass #zivilgesellschaft|licher Freiraum (#CivicSpace) nicht nur weit, weit weg bedroht ist, dieser Blick zurück an den Monatsanfang. Stichwort Finanzierung aus dem Ausland (ich meine nicht: In #Bayern aus Preußen.)
Unter Titel "Verteidigung der #Demokratie" plant die EU-Kommission eine #Richtlinie, die faktisch restriktive #NGOGesetze und Muster #feindlicherAgent folgt. Vorgesehen sind Offenlegungspflichten für Organisationen, die finanzielle Unterstützung aus Nicht-EU-Staaten erhalten.

Was unterscheidet dabei in den Mitteln autoritäre Staaten und freiheitliche Demokratien - und wie kann ein Land bei allen Herausforderungen freiheitlich und rechtsstaatlich bleiben?
