Loving the #MSO #Classic100 concert on ABC but I have to mute the talking heads between pieces. Prefer just the #music π
Btw, the #classic100 concert is on ABC Classic FM, TV and iView currently, in case that is your thing

I missed the abc thing but I just want to out my votes out there: elderly lady bass, followed by teen girl tenor.
Oh! Song of the Birds? Casals' favourite piece. Not top of the pops at all? #Classic100
ABC Classic is really playing to popular culture these days. Once again, of all the extraordinary cello pieces, we get one-dimensional Game of Thrones and Pirates cello music as examples. I know they are fun and well-known, but ... #Classic100
I'd just like to take this moment to point out the existence of The Triples of Belleville soundtrack, made up of playing vacuum cleaners, paper, fridge shelves and bike wheels.

Paganini Caprice #24 - I seem to recall Andrew Lloyd Weber arranging this for cello and claiming it as his own work... π
@Bandicoot i could listen to Itzhak Perlman cos heβs more lyrical of mellow or something. #Classic100
Not Paganini π± Nails on a blackboard!
The Voilinist offspring is taking it surprisingly well.
Number 3 #Classic100
I do prefer massed violins over solo. String ensembles donβt get on my nerves like one does #Classic100
