One of my favourite #ClassicalHollywood #films: the quietly #sublime PETER IBBETSON (1935) dir. Henry Hathaway. I like to pause and step through the exquisitely shot scenes of this hypnotic gem. My lo-res VHS copy (and my myopia) enhancing the blurry, dreamlike experience of a story of transcendent love.
