Mit seinem #Deye #Inverter mittels AT-Kommandos zu „sprechen“ versetzt einen in die Nerd-Jugend der 90er zurück – mein erstes Modem und so. Wie macht der sog. Otto-Normal-Verbraucher das alles? Ahso, der macht das nicht.

@sambowne A real "smart" home should never rely on cloud services and #homeassistant is simply consequent in contuing to drive this road to ensure your #smarthome continues to work even though a vendor decides to shutdown its cloud service. And we at #RaspberryMatic are doing exactly the same for the #homematicIP #smarthome world… Thus, 2023 will hopefully also be a year of more #CloudFree endeavors like this!

@encbladexp Mach es doch gleich richtig und steig von einer Cloud-basierten Lösung (die jederzeit vom Hersteller deaktiviert werden kann) auf eine rein lokale #CloudFree Lösung wie #CCU/#RasperryMatic um. Diese kommt dann auch gleich mit verschiedensten APIs daher um deine #HomeMatic/#hoemmaticIP Geräte überall anzubinden und die im Grunde fast keine Wünsche offen lässt. Ein Cloud-basiertes #smarthome ist eben im Grunde fast nie eine smarte Lösung!
