A Hard Fern (Struthiopteris spicant (used to be Blechnum spicant)) for the end of a hard week. #FernFriday. A dimorphic fern, this specimen has the green vegetative fronds and now black fertile fronds. #VC51 #Clwydians #fern

Dibaeis baeomyces (used to be Baeomyces roseus), l lovely little lichen of peaty soil. The apothecia on this are about 5mm high.
