Two things:
1. This is a really well designed and mostly well thought out piece on how Louisiana is facing climate change.
2. It’s immensely annoying to me that this gets framed as “New Orleans is facing a climate crises” - completely ignoring so many people who have been living with this crisis long before it was on the city’s doorstep.

Hard sea defences on sand dunes at Kilgorman Beach, North Wexford, Ireland, protecting a small number of mobile homes. They may provide protection to property but negatively disturb the natural environment and reduce beach access to the general public at times when seas are high.
