Remember when a popular president fought a proxy war, sending guns and money to #Afghanistan for #Saudi nationals to use in terrorizing #Russians, never imagining that #OsamaBinLaden would turn around use them against US? which he did.
Still a #ColdWarrior at heart, no fan of #Russia, don't underestimate #BadVlad #Putin, and confident in the wisdom of #JoeBiden; but I sure hope this proxy war turns out differently.
