We present 3D-MuPPET, a framework to estimate and track 3D poses of up to 10 #pigeons at interactive speed. We show that 3D-MuPPET also works in natural environments without model fine-tuning on additional annotations.

In the wider scope, at which I'm sure to continue failing at, I wish to consolidate #DynamicalSystems approaches and
#InformationTheoretic approaches to #ComplexSystems, and particularly; #CollectiveBehaviour.

The study of this kind of #CollectiveBehaviour is philosophically and scientifically understood as the study of #emergence:
how some #Macroscopic phenomena emerges from the particular and peculiar interactions of the microscopic composite parts.

I am interested in understanding emergence from the point-of-view of a very powerful mathematical framework called #InformationTheory.

To that end, I apply #InformationTheoretic measures of emergence to the simulated dynamics I mentioned.
