Comment about the #Colston statue being ‘destroyed’:

A lot of probably unintentional truth to those words.

Debates around #Churchill and his statue will point to where people’s loyalities lie when it comes to White Supremacism.

People upset about the slave merchant #Colston statue being thrown in the river, saying it is destruction of history and that it will lead to an increase in 'extreme groups'.

What they mean is it will lead to an increase in collective and individual White Supremacist sentiment.

And they know this for a fact because the feel the increase rising in them due to this affront to Whiteness.
