Loyalty

1Ki 8:61 Let your heart therefore be loyal to the LORD our God, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, as at this day."

A confession of believing in Christ is just the beginning of your walk with God. When we think of a walk it is going from one place to another; it is also how we get around every day to do tasks that are necessary for living. To walk with God is to live out what He has commanded us to do.
The word day is not speaking of a 24 hour period, in Hebrew thought day means to do continually. Our hearts are truly loyal to God when we are able to live out His commandments with the right understanding about them.
