This Tomb at #Agra #UttarPradesh was built between 1622-28 AD by #Mughal ruler#Jahangir's wife, Queen #NurJahan for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. (d. 1622AD).
Made of Marble inlaid with semi-precious stones, this was the first Mughal monument to move away from using only red sandstone.

This #CompanyPainting dated 15th February 1880 AD is by Qudratullah of #Lucknow
He was a Draftsman at the Superintending Engineer of the Presidency & Oudh Company.
The #Painting is on paper watermarked 'J WHATMAN 1875'.

He was engaged in surveys of the Company territories. These surveys became a means of gathering scientific knowledge about plants, birds & animals in the region.
