Day 24 at #RPGaDay2023: complex / simple Game

The most complex RPG I ever played is, in my opinion, #DSA Dunno which version it was, but simple combat alone had several rules for about everything and it took way too much time to finish one round of combat

Simplest one was #Conan2d20 just roll, play and hack and slay

Decided that, now I have the Conan Character Creator working, it would be rude not to include an interface for spending XP to improve your character.

Favourite LICENSED RPG

I'm still going to have to go with #Conan2d20 from Modiphius. They really nailed the gritty sword and sorcery feel of the world.

Honourable mentions go to The One Ring 2E and Alien, both from Free League. Also Fallout RPG, again from Modiphius.

Lagging behind a bit as I've been busy this weekend.

Has to be the #Modiphius #2d20 system. It's such a fun/slick system, and I love the minor tweaks they do with each game to match the feel of whatever world they're working in.

Favourite game using it is hands down #Conan2d20 with honourable mentions to #AchtungCthulhu #FalloutRPG and #JohnCarterOfMars

Favourite Con MODULE / ONE-SHOT

As established, I've never been to a convention, so I'm ignoring that part of the question.

This has to be The Red Pit for #Conan2d20

The players start as slaves working in a massive open-pit mine. After months of biding their time they finally have an opportunity to attempt an escape. Wearing nothing but rags, and with no weapons, they have to overpower the guards and overcome many obstacles and enemies to win their freedom and escape.

Never played at a con (ever been only to one), but as a one-shot I really liked 'Conan: Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of' #Conan2d20 . At least after I wrapped my head around the idea, that 20 enemies are an easy amount of foes for three SCs....

The character creator for #Conan2d20 on #FoundryVTT is basically feature complete now.
