A congestion charge is proposed to fund buses, but we're absolutely at the 'panic' stage & I fear the results will cause ditching of any charge (AND therefore investment!). I am absolutely in favour of the extension of the #ULEZ zone in #London, which is the right way to go. However, I would like to see the numbers and results of the last ULEZ extension and #congestioncharge to support the new decision. Not because I don't trust the judgment but because numbers should support every action taken by a politician, and those numbers should be public to make people aware of the results and fight #ignorance.

Meanwhile, lots of coverage of protests against a congestion charge... particularly decision to put the Hospital in the charging zone. You know what really slow ambulances down? Congestion around the Hospital! 😩
