@neil
a lot of shops here in Norway seem to use mobile phone numbers for their customer club discounts instead... I hate having to publicly announce my phone number in a shop to benefit from the discounts...
When it comes to receipts, I'd prefer getting paper receipts so I can easily check them for errors; the amount of money I've saved because discounts hadn't been applied, or because prices were outright wrong, or the wrong product code had been used, is quite a bit... Especially at the local #CoopMega.
If I first have to dive into an app to check the receipt, I'm likely to forget, and once you're out of the store it's hard to substantiate your claim anyway.
But perhaps they are counting on that.
It's kinda sad that I just know I have to take pictures of the discounts on the racks of #CoopMega in #Rønvika so I can show it at the cash register, because they'll inevitably charge me the full price otherwise.
Same with pointing out the rather small price stickers on some other soon-to-expire goods. If your staff can't see them, perhaps it's time to use bigger and more obvious stickers, or to put the stickers over the barcodes, #Coop?
If I hadn't paid attention, I would've paid about 122 NOK (about 12 EUR/12.5 USD) more than I'd expected.
Wish they would just implement the self-scan service in this shop too (or rather, in every shop...)

If your employees won't spot your tiny discount stickers, then please start using bigger ones that they will see...
Second time this week that I buy something from #CoopMega that has a tiny sticker on it indicating it has been discounted, but not getting charged the right amount because they 'missed the sticker'...
This time I would've ended up paying 4 times as much if I hadn't asked for the receipt to double check.
Overall I like the #Coop chain, but this Mega is bad...
