Someone sat opposite me on train this morning called their #GP. The person is #coughing their #lungs out. I can hear their #mucus in #chest, it’s that bad. They have had #fever. They can’t #breathe while talking. They just came back from a small nation in #South #Asia. What’s the likelihood of this being #TB? Their #COVID test has been negative for a week, everyday in a row.

I’m on the other side of this #flu thankfully. Still difficult to play as the muscles I’ve used for #coughing are the same ones that I use to push air through my #trombone so feeling pretty sore and inconsistent musically.

Our Key 1 is back after getting concussed, feeling better.

I was given a nice piece of #chocolate today. And have a #knit #stegosaurus hat coming in the mail. And will finally get to go #home for a break on Monday.

I went to the drugstore to pick up my meds. The drive in was 8 cars deep, so I went in. I was the only person wearing a mask, and that includes the pharmacy personnel. About half the ppl in the store either looked sick or were coughing. #nomasks #coughing #drugstore

Nearly 4 am & all family members are awake, #coughing. I think it's safe to assume we are all infected - though only my SO (isolated in the living room) has so far tested #Covid positive. No other disease is this contagious prior to symptoms afaik. Must admit I'm petrified; I worry esp. about my vulnerable loved ones. Comfort: this is Omicron (I had Delta) & we're all now 4x vaccinated.
Still: worst case scenario. I'll be off social media until after.
