Hello.
I'm a recent twit-bird blow in, here. I'm interested in history, especially that of Co. Clare. I was quite the rabid fan of hurling, once, but haven't really been following any since the outbreak of the pandemic--I hope to change that. Happy to be here!
Have any GAA clubs immigrated from Twit'er, yet?

Poulnabrone dolmen, a portal tomb located in the beautiful limestone landscape of the Burren, County Clare, Ireland. Poll na mBrón means 'hole of the quern stones' in Irish.
It dates back to the Neolithic period, probably between 4200 BCE and 2900 BCE.

I had a series of rescue chickens in the UK, but I think I will go for fancy breeds this time. There doesn't appear to be a rescue infrastructure in Ireland like the BHWT and although I liked the principal of the thing and the commercial hybrids, I think I will try some known breeds. Anyone know a good place to get interesting point of lay chickens within reach of #CountyClare?
Took us a year to find a new home in #CountyClare (there were a few false starts) and now we have a rather nice rural home, we gradually moved over the course of 3 years, Covid was somewhat inconvenient in that. We had one Covid Christmas with me and all the prezzies and food in Ireland and the rest of them in the UK with no flights, food or presents. Takes a while to eat a whole ham and huge turkey by yourself, but there were no flights for about 6 months.
anyone going to the #Ennis #TradFest in #CountyClare #Ireland this weekend?
