There is only one item of good news relating to this. The former head of #publichealthengland #duncanselbie went on the record to the #CovidInquiry this month about the cuts to #publichealthengland that left it without testing capacity and other capabilities by early 2020. The evidence is now out there - except that only #privateeye seems willing to report it! I should add that I had dealings in the past with #duncanselbie who was both honest and a capable and caring manager!

Does anyone have advice for protecting your pet from covid during a flight?
My partner has ideas about applying filters to a carrier, but it's not certain how breathable it would be. Does anyone have experience with this?

So, the deadline has passed for #BorisJohnson to provide the #CovidInquiry with the various massages from his old mobile phone. The Cabinet Office, having lost its attempt to be allowed to redact messages, notebooks etc., has indeed handed them over... Boris, not so much.

The Q. is will Baroness Hallett accept Johnson's claim that the (further) delay is due to technical issues around the 'secure' downloading of messages, or will she need to take further action?
And if so, what?

So the Govt's #covid & neighbouring WhatsAp messages, diaries & notes will be delivered to the #CovidInquiry on Monday unredacted as (as I presume) the Court has concluded the Cabinet Office cannot be trusted to decide what & what is not vital to understand the political machinations around the pandemic.... which tells you what you need to know about the general level of the presumption of probity enjoyed by the Govt.

What will finally be revealed on Monday will interesting (or perhaps not?)
