I reviewed Halwell to Dartmouth for #SlowWays today. It started off dry & warm, but the rain set in & I had to take refuge in a barn to eat my pasty.
Met some curious cattle (we played grandmother’s footsteps through their field) who enjoyed some head scritches.
It was too wet for many photos but it was a very good walk through the rolling green hills & lanes of the South Hams, ending at beautiful Dartmouth on the River Dart. ⛴️ 🚌 🚊 home.

The cows in a nearby field continue to charm me #cowsOfMastodon
(Alt: I approach a group of young bullocks in a field and they remain relaxed and I get to tickle a few of them on the nose much more than I expected, one of them especially was more like a horse in tickle acceptance)
