We have had a similar problem with shonks building #highrise in #Australia. They were cracking up even without an earthquake.
A report on #FourCorners literally called #CrackingUp brought this to the fore.

Okay. Hopefully it actually does do a positive thing. Too often when developers have controlled things we've end up with human filing cabinetry, unsafe developments (see #CrackingUp) slumlords and many different forms of illness arise from it. Not to mention the loss of charm and restorative benefits from having character and craftsmanship on display in the built environment.

The sad part is they've already done most of the damage that they can do re #planning. So they've likely reached a plateau and in fact may feel like they need to do less evil today.
Especially given the alleged '#treeChange'
