Being in that rock diving club is probably the only “cool” thing about my whole current life.

This, of course makes me think of Crater Lake, one of my favorite places in the world. It’s usually a game of guessing when you can visit when it’s warm enough to swim but before the smoke takes over. Anyway, here’s a webcam for the lake:

Here’s an image I captured during my trip to Crater Lake in July. The water was exceptionally calm and acted like a mirror for the stars. It was an amazing night for stargazing and astrophotography, and I’m looking forward to going back soon.
