Creeping Things

So, who are these creeping ones? Paul tells us in Romans, ‘they are unrighteous men who suppress and hinder the truth; those who knew God but did not honor or glorify Him, rather became futile and godless in their thinking, claiming to be wise, but were foolish’ (ref Rom 1:18, 21-22). John mentions them as well saying, ‘they went out from us, but were not of us;’ (ref 1Jn 1:19).

The creeping ones are those in the church who have brought a false message - false Gospel; these ones God says His wrath will be poured out against. God is coming to judge His church, who is supposed to look like Him, but rather has changed His image to a corruptible man and likened to the creeping things (ref Rom 1:23).
