This week, #CruxFermentationProject provided me with two of its recent beers: Tough Love Barrel-Aged #ImperialStout and Doublecross Dark Belgian-Style Ale. Tough Love is the 10th anniversary edition of the Banished series stout, aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels.

My latest article for The Bulletin came out last week, and in it I reviewed Tropicano #IPA from #CruxFermentationProject—labeled as a “tropical IPA” so I explored a bit of what that means. It’s also one brewed with experimental hop HBC 586, so I touch on that as well.
