We call it a grift, con, and scam largely because of the prevalence of #AltCoins that pop up, get a huge surge of value due to early adopters, then crash as the guy who created it pulls the rug out.

If it was just Bitcoin and Litecoin and we weren't watching the world's richest man pump and dump a coin that was designed as a joke, maybe we wouldn't think of #Cryptocurrency as a scam.

Yield farming sounds like something you would do in World of WarCraft :warcraft:

Instead it's "a way to earn rewards by depositing your cryptocurrency or digital assets into a decentralized application" aka a Ponzi Scheme

Much in the world of #cryptocurrency are recycled words that don't immediately set off alarms

Was idly curious if that whole Signal cryptocurrency payment thing was still around and yes, apparently. I looked up the MobileCoin details, and stuff like this is a deterrent for ordinary folks: "If you need to send or receive a payment consisting of more than 16 inputs or outputs there is a coin cleanup fee."
