It's gotten a lot bigger, and has started trying to climb my basil. I still think it's in the #cucumber family, and PlantNet seems to agree, having changed its vote back to #cantaloupe.
However, in a stunning upset, Google Lens has changed its vote to #chayote (aka #mirliton). This is almost certainly wrong.
Human experts have so far guessed: squash, cucumber, and bottle gourd.
No female flowers yet. So we continue to wait.

@Kill2BlooD you nean not full of sugar and nuts and cocoa and stuff?
Yeah.
Tho a #Zucchini (or #Cucumber) can be delicious too.
May it be pickled in a sour & salty brine, cooked, fried or grilled.
The availability of spices is mostly the limiting factor...
It has flowers now, which you'd think would help to identify it, but in fact all /Cucumis/ have similar flowers, so it's not much help.
Interestingly, Google Lens has (finally!) changed its vote from #squash to #cucumber, but PlantNet has changed its vote from cucumber to #cantaloupe
As for me, I am sure it is a /Cucumis/, but remain undecided.
Top contenders are cucumber (but no variety I've ever planted) and cantaloupe (which I've never ever planted!)

This monstrosity was planted May 26, making it only 2 months old it has already produced 10 big pickle sized cucumbers, and will almost certainly produce another 10 before it dies.
I plant a new one every 4 weeks, so that I will have cucumbers all summer long, and even until mid autumn.

#Cucumbers! How fast do they grow? *This* fast. These were planted July 19 and today is July 22, so they are 4 days old.
This is the #Sumtner variety which I highly recommend, especially for container gardening.

Dear Internet, what do you think is going on here? I transplanted these #cucumber #plants into my raised bed about a month ago. There’s the yellow flowers, but no other growth. #GrowYourOwn #Garden #VegetableGardening #Gardening #DIY

I have a #hummingbird now, who flies right past the hummingbird feeder to get to the #cucumber plants, and she visits every flower before she leaves.
Just now, I was tying up some cucumber vines, and she came by, stopped and hovered about one foot away, and gave me this look, like, "Hey, jerk! Get outta the way. I'm doing hummingbird things here."
Didn't have my camera, unfortunately, but chances are she would'nt've held still for that.

Remember that baby #cucumber I posted on 12 Jun? Here it is today, 21 Jun, only 9 days later.
This is the #Sumter variety of cucumber, which I highly recommend for quick growing cucumbers in a 5 gallon container. (USDA Zone 7b)
These are pickling cucumbers, and they make great #pickles, but they are also good raw, and I often eat them in #salads.

It's the best time of the year, right now, for central #Arkansas. It's warm enough for #dragonflies, but not warm enough for #Cicadas.
Dragonflies at my house love to play King of the Stick, where they compete to land on the highest stick in the yard. Usually that's my #cucumber trellis, but right now it's a temporary post, set up for deer netting around my #okra.

New paper about heat stress and wasting disease on sea cucumbers by colleagues. Really good read, even if it's not your domain. Extra points for testing drooping!
