My must-read book recommendations include:
1) Mike Bell's "The Fundamentals of Teaching"
2) Hattie, Fisher, Frey's series (e.g. Literacy, Math, Science)
3) Zaretta Hammond's " Teaching and the "

Now those should ground you in evidence-based strategies. The next list of books:

There are others but that's a great start. I've found if you know the evidence-based strategies, blending is easy.
