#Today I did some more work towards a clear out of the office block where the curatorial team used to work.

Here's what needs to be moved to the #archive and #library. Only one box of paperwork but three boxes of #books that #curators had squirrelled away. One very naughty curator in particular. Tsk!

#Phoenix #Art Museum is next up for this type of exhibit.

"...security guards and gallery attendants were asked to choose works from the #Baltimore #BMA museum’s permanent collection that were most meaningful to them and then create an exhibit out of their choices.

In the process, the guards got an opportunity to work with #museum #curators and learn about what goes into mounting the exhibits they protect."

#UofTMississauga is launching a project entitled “Hidden Stories: New Approaches to the Local and Global History of the Book,” funded by the #MellonFoundation. The Mellon Foundation has given a $2.69 million grant to support the project, which involves 130 researchers— #humanists, #scientists, #librarians, #curators, conservators & others—from 60 institutions across the world.
