I'm curious about the demographics here - what age group is falling for these scams the most? I wonder if younger generations will be less likely to fall for internet scams...? My children are already being taught to avoid online scams and they are only in grade school.

We see a lot of #RomanceScams and #PigButchering as a result of #CyberFraud, however one of the topics I don’t see a lot of material on is victimology and psychology as it relates to these types of scams. I’ve done a TON of research into the area over the last two years and am finally getting comfortable enough where. I can start sharing some of that material. Because learning about emotions (wait, we have sensations in our bodies that are used for communication?!) is something I never though I would have to do.

Or to be more blunt: I was an arrogant prick who said “Emotions? Who needs those!”

And it turns out when you turn off the bad emotions our bodies treat all emotions, both what we perceive as good or bad as just that: sensations in the body.
