I made a meme again; I felt inspired by a template I found Google Images but with @Gloomeskk@twitter.com's model. #ratchetps5 #ratchetandclankriftapart #blender3d #cyclesrender #cyclesx #rivet #rivetthelombax #Memes

"Cycles X Project Update"
https://code.blender.org/2021/11/cycles-x-project-update/
Holy sh***, that's a big performance increase π² π π
Kudos to all devs working on this π
Doing a project for a client, interior bathroom without natural light.
Blender 2.93 LTS with cycles and 1024 samples : 27 minutes.
Blender 3.0 alpha with cycles x and same settings : 14 minutes.
No denoising.
Damn.. Can't wait for the 3.0 release. π
"10 years ago my (back then) beefy workstation had to wait for a while to render this character with Multires in Blender Internal. Today, Cycles X makes editing shaders and lighting real time. On my laptop. π²"

So, just to make sure, #CyclesX still won't benefit from GPU+CPU rendering over plain GPU rendering?
Even if you have a latest 64-core CPU and latest RTX GPU in use at the same time?
Why is that so?
