Imagine trading #bitcoin without touching the #Blockchain 🤔

No, not with #LN, but using #DBCs and being able to do atomic swaps with any other kind of digital assets.

It may be that #SafeNetwork provides an escape route for all those not really that great #crypto things, or it may be that eliminating their Blockchains helps some of them find real world use cases.

Making them scale, swap instantly and not burn the planet would be a good thing right?

#MaidSafe are creating a payment network as a stepping stone towards the full data storage and comms network.

This is in part to test and refine the payment system, which is novel - based on Digital Bearer Certificates (#DBCs with a #decentralised mint).

And pushing many who had been captured on Twitter to jump ship and help those already trying to do something about it in the online world, not just in the #fediverse.

Also in #p2p storage and communications and even #crypto (not bitcoin or Blockchain but perhaps #DBCs - digital bearer certificates) will help us build robust people oriented systems.
