@walshbr Between you and @jimmc_grath it's been amazing having friends writing things this summer that will be perfect for #DHRPG course revisions. 🥰 On the topic of icebreakers, out of nowhere as we're starting a 5-hour drive, the local 5-year-old tossed out the prompt, "Tell me about your best enemy." 😂
@sramsay For more joy, there's documentation on the #DHRPG, along with a write-up of an example turn, over here: https://dhrpg.github.io/
@carrideen @sramsay For my #DHRPG class I modeled teaching as two rolls: one for preparation, one for charisma. I don't have great stats for the former, myself, so there's often not a lot of difference between prepping for something that's been on the syllabus for weeks and something I just thought of on the train. 😅 But the position I'm in makes it feasible for the class I teach to be all-consuming in a way that would be harder if I also had to juggle more things.
For some bonus #DayofDH2022 tomorrow, I'll be talking about taking fun seriously at @UNT_Libraries@twitter.com. It should be quite a journey ranging from the #DataSittersClub, #DHRPG, and fanfic, to Ukrainian web archiving, and... ducks 🦆🦆🦆. Zoom sign-up at https://bit.ly/UNTLib-DayofDH2022
